Every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and loved. At Advance the Faith, we believe that no one should be forgotten—especially the children and young adults in group foster homes. Through our mission trips and ongoing programs, we are creating meaningful relationships, sharing the love of Christ, and equipping youth with practical life skills that will shape their futures.
More Than a Visit—A Lasting Impact
Our work in group foster homes is not about one-time encounters. It’s about building trust and forming ongoing relationships that provide encouragement, guidance, and hope. Here’s how we serve:
- Showing them they are not forgotten – Every child needs to know they are seen and valued. We take the time to listen, acknowledge their worth, and assure them that they matter.
- Building trust through relationships – By fostering genuine connections, we create safe spaces where these young individuals can share their stories, be heard, and experience unwavering support.
- Sharing the Gospel in a meaningful way – We don’t just preach; we embody Christ’s love through our presence, conversations, and actions, showing them what it means to be loved by God.
- Creating lasting impact – We strive to maintain ongoing connections, ensuring that our influence extends far beyond a single visit.
Where We Serve and What We Do
Advance the Faith is active in several locations, offering both spiritual and practical support to children and young adults in foster care.
Nassau, Bahamas – At Ranfurly Home and Elizabeth Estates Children’s Home, we host life camps designed to equip young people with the tools they need for a successful future. These camps focus on personal development, career readiness, and spiritual growth. We also maintain connections with alumni, ensuring they continue to receive guidance and support as they transition into adulthood.
Cat Island, Bahamas – At Old Bight Mission Home, we organize camps that grow the children’s knowledge of Jesus while creating a fun, nurturing environment. We also take care of practical needs, such as painting and upgrading outdoor equipment, improving the quality of their living spaces.
Fort Myers, Florida – At Oasis Youth Shelter, we serve runaways and at-risk youth by providing life skills training and introducing them to the hope found in Jesus Christ. Our goal is to guide them toward stability and a brighter future.
Auburndale, Florida – At Anchor House Ministries, we invest in the lives of young men in the foster care system, offering mentorship, life skills training, and the love of Christ. We focus on forming strong relationships that will encourage and uplift these young men as they navigate life’s challenges.
Punta Gorda, Florida- Our newest partnership is with Crossroads Hope Academy, a home for teenage foster boys who have experienced multiple failed placements. We walk alongside them, providing encouragement, mentorship, and spiritual guidance to help them restore their hope and purpose.
