Partnering with group homes to bring

life-readiness, personal success, & financial literacy

with the hope of the Gospel to foster youth.

CHRIST. CONSISTENCY. CONNECTION.

Hope for the future

Over 20,000 foster teens age out of the system every year without the support they need to survive. The results are devastating: 30% are homeless the day they age out (50% within 3 years), 70% of young men are incarcerated by 26, and 60% of young women are pregnant by 21.

At Advance the Faith, we show up month after month to build real relationships, share the Gospel, and equip teens with life success skills, emotional support, and a spiritual foundation for adulthood.

Last year, we served over 250 foster teens in Florida, and there are so many more who we could reach. They deserve more than survival. They deserve a hope for a future with better life outcomes.

FLORIDA PARTNER LOCATIONS

Charlotte County life coaching

Punta Gorda is home to two teen group foster homes for boys who have experienced multiple failed placements. For some of them this is the last place they will live before aging out of the foster care system.  Our trained coaches are paired with a young man to help prepare them for independent living through weekly meetings, life skills training, and Biblical teachings. Additionally, the Faith and Fitness program brings comraderie and hope to strengthen resilience and coping strategies.

Lee County youth shelter

Each month young people who are experiencing crisis or in-between placements enter a temporary youth shelter in Fort Myers. Our staff, FGCU Interns, and volunteers bring financial literacy & personal success skills in an afterschool format, while also sharing the Gospel message in this 4-session program. Each year dozens of young people at this location accept Christ or recommit to their Christian faith. It is our joy to hand out over 60 Bibles each year to young people eager to know Jesus

polk county Boy's home

Teams of volunteers serve at a boy's group home one Saturday each month. The boys love participating in outdoor games, worship, and learning practical life skills. Everyone enjoys eating a fun meal and friendly competitions.

Polk County Girl's home

Our teams serve at a home near Lakeland that is dedicated to caring for teen girls in a group setting. One Saturday each month our teams work together to build relationships through practical life skills, Bible study, crafts, and games.
